MyZmanim.com is dedicated to providing people around the world with the zmanim times they need to properly serve Hashem.

MyZmanim.com provides zmanim via mobile phone as SMS text-messages.

There are two ways to request a zmanim text-message:

Method 1: Place a phone call
        Method 2: Send a text-message

This page discusses our text-messaging services. To learn how you can have zmanim read to you over the phone, please see MyZmanim Infoline.

Method 1:
Place a phone call
(Note: This method is only available to the following United States cell-phone carriers: Verizon Wireless, Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile. If you own a cell phone from another carrier or from another country, you'll need to use Method 2 - "Send a text-message")

  1. Call 516.7.ZMANIM (516-796-2646) with your cell phone, and choose
option five from the main menu.
  2. When prompted to do so, enter your ZIP code or Worldwide MyZmanim Location ID. (Your Location ID appears in the orange Location Bar on the daily zmanim page for your location.)
  3. Receive an SMS Zmanim Text-Message.

Our Mobile ZmanimSM system knows the current time in your location, so all the zmanim that you receive will be relevant to the future. You will not get any zmanim that have passed already.
Method 2:
Send a text-message
  1. If you've used Mobile ZmanimSM before (using either "Method 1" or "Method 2"), then all you need to do is reply to an old zmanim-text message, so you can skip to step 3.
  2. If this is your first time using Mobile ZmanimSM, you'll need to compose a new message. So:
    • If you know how to send email with your mobile phone, start a new message and address it to:
      smyzmanim.
    • If you do not know how to send email with your mobile phone or if your mobile phone is not equipped to do so, the way to get started is to request an invitation by SMS.
  3. See "Composing a Zmanim Request" below.
  4. Send the message and you'll receive a zmanim text-message back.

Composing a Zmanim Request

Q: What should I write in the message?
A: All that is required is a location. You can enter a 5-digit US ZIP code, an 8-digit MyZmanim location ID, or in some cases, even the name of the city alone will suffice.

FAQ's on Text-Message Requests:
Q: Why do I only get the zmanim through Chatzos? What happened to the other zmanim, like Plag and Shkia?
A: Because the permitted length of text messages is limited, we only send you what fits into a single text-message.

Q: Is there any way for me to get two text messages so that I can view a full day of zmanim?
A: Yes! Indicate a date or include the word "more" in your request (see above for examples)
